OUR STORY

El Rey Chile’s story began with Raymond and Claudia Pacheco, owners hailing from diverse backgrounds. Raymond, a Deming, New Mexico native, found himself close to the source of fresh Hatch green and dried red chile, just an hour away from his hometown. Claudia was born in Winters, California, and later moved to Woodland, California, adding her unique experiences to the mix. This family venture was born from a heartfelt prayer to God, seeking guidance and an opportunity to bond together. Their passion for bringing the finest flavors of New Mexico to Northern California is evident in every aspect of El Rey Chile, and they are thrilled to share this  journey with their valued customers.
